Once upon a time in West Linn on a bright sunny day, I was going to take my family to the river to enjoy the sunshine since we get sooo many days of sunshine a year. I stopped at the Chevron station on Highway 43 next to the 7-11 to fill up my tank with fuel.
I went to the air station to fill up the inner tubes while my beautiful wife waited in the car. The gas attendant was busy with another car so we had to wait to get diesel fuel. My wife washed the windshield to allow the amazing sunlight to cascade inside of our 2009 VW. She told the attendant to fill up the car with diesel fuel, which we were parked directly in front of. She went into the store to get some cold beverages for our trip to the river.
When I was done filling the tubes up with air, I came back to the car and noticed that the attendant had put unleaded fuel into our diesel-only car. The attendant stated that my wife told him to. I asked him if he saw the diesel stickers not only on the fuel cap but on the fuel door as well.
He said “its her fault” and pointed to my wife. I asked to speak to the manager, who came out and offered to take our car to his shop in Beaverton to drain the unleaded fuel and replace it with diesel. I gave the owner, Mr. Bobby Arsanjami, my info. and he said he would call me to let me know when my car would be ready to pick up. My wife and I had many plans that day, all of which were ruined due to having no transportation.
This all happened around 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon.
